As Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become an evolving and uncertain public health issue affecting people globally and close to home, SUMMERFUN KIDS CAMP wants to reassure you that nothing is more important than the health, safety, and well-being of our campers, their parents, our teachers and Jr. Counselors.
Our plan, at this point, is to have camp per usual for the coming summer, but that is always subject to change. We wanted to address the concern of our camper parents, and assure them that they will receive a full deposit refund if we do have to cancel camp this summer. Our camp starts with staff training in late May so it is a little too early for us to make a decision for summer one way or another.
The evolving nature of this event requires us to be flexible in how we respond and provide service to you. We will continue to monitor the Coronavirus situation as we move closer to summer. We are actively examining health response and cleaning procedures, ensuring that we meet or exceed standards required by the Department of Health.
We will take advice from our state and local governments, and health officials to continue to assess the situation. SKC is also monitoring Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization’s (WHO) guidance for responding to Coronavirus.
Please direct any specific questions about summer camp to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are excited for this summer and are planning an amazing experience for you!
